Recently, Celanese was recognized as a leader in the chemical industry for exceptional environmental, health, safety, and security (EHS&S) performance and commitment to sustainability at the American Chemistry Council's (ACC) 2022 Annual Responsible Care® & Sustainability Conference.
The annual conference educates ACC member and partner companies about new developments and processes to help enhance their company's commitment to Responsible Care and sustainability. Additionally, the conference promotes safe operations and chemicals management throughout the value chain.
Responsible Care awardees qualify based on exemplary performance and are selected by a committee of internal and external experts. Celanese has received the following industry awards:
The Waste Minimization, Reuse and Recycling Award for achievements in the areas of waste minimization, reuse, and recycling:
